The EiP commenced on 31 October 2006 at the Wigan Investment Centre and sat for three weeks (31 October-17 November). The EiP reconvened at the Wigan Investment Centre 9-18 January 2007, the Lake District National Park Authority Offices, Kendal, 24-26 January 2007, and Wigan Investment Centre, 25 February, to discuss Matter 6C (a detailed programme is available to download opposite). The Panel Report was published 8 May 2007. History Following the publication of the Draft List of Matters and Participants on 24 July 2006, a 28 day consultation period for any comments on the Draft List was held, which ended on 21 August 2006 . The deadline for submitting Statements was 2 October 2006. The Panel considered the Comments and Statements received and produced a Final List of Matters and Participants. Click here to view list. A First Preliminary Meeting took place at 11.00 am on Thursday 27 July 2006. The Panel explained the conduct of the EiP and clarified any points arising from the Notes for Participants (a Note of the Meeting is available to download from the Document Centre).
